Built for biological indicator testing
01
50+ BIs in one run
The high-capacity well block removes the incubation bottleneck for sterilisation cycle validation and routine monitoring.
02
Integrated vial crusher
Activate self-contained biological indicators at the instrument, consistently, before incubation.
03
37 °C and 60 °C incubation
Covers common BI organisms, for example G. stearothermophilus for steam and B. atrophaeus for EO and dry heat.
04
5" touchscreen HMI
Real-time temperature display, live temperature graph, setpoint and timer at a glance.
05
Temperature data logging
Continuous printed temperature records on A4 or 3-inch printers for paper-based documentation of every run.
06
Thermal safety
Dual Pt1000 sensors, independent safety monitoring and automatic heater cut-off above 150 °C.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Acculize Incu-Bi Smart is a standalone dry bath incubator for biological indicator (BI) testing in pharma QC and sterility assurance. It incubates the BIs used to validate and monitor steam, dry heat, ethylene oxide and other sterilisation processes.
The high-capacity well block holds 50+ biological indicator tubes, so a full sterilisation load can be incubated in a single run.
The Acculize Incu-Bi Smart incubates at 37 °C and 60 °C, with ±1.0 °C stability and uniformity at 37 °C, ±2.0 °C at 60 °C, and 0.1 °C resolution. 55 to 60 °C is typical for Geobacillus stearothermophilus indicators (steam) and 30 to 37 °C for Bacillus atrophaeus indicators (EO and dry heat). Always follow the incubation conditions specified by your BI manufacturer.
The Acculize Incu-Bi Smart automates temperature control during incubation, temperature data logging and printing, and buzzer alerts when pre-heating and the sample timer complete. Analysts still activate the BIs with the vial crusher and read the results.
Self-contained biological indicators are activated by crushing the inner media ampoule after sterilisation. The integrated vial crusher lets analysts do this at the instrument, consistently, before placing the BI in the well block.
The Acculize Incu-Bi Smart connects to A4 and 3-inch dot-matrix printers for continuous printing. Printouts include maximum, minimum and average temperature, start and stop time, setpoints, timer settings and completion status, with logging intervals from 1 to 60 minutes and durations up to 14 days.
Yes. The Acculize Incu-Bi Smart is a Group B instrument under USP <1058> and supports instrument qualification, with IQ/OQ documentation available. Regulatory compliance depends on the user's validated system and procedures; Acculize lab devices provide the technical controls and documentation to support it.
The Acculize BET 96 Plus and Acculize BET 96 Smart are 96-well dry bath heating blocks for LAL gel clot bacterial endotoxin testing at 37 °C with 10x75 mm tubes. The Acculize Incu-Bi Smart is part of the same dry bath series, with a well block, vial crusher and 37 °C / 60 °C setpoints designed for biological indicators.
